ABOUT 

Photo of practice owner and occupational therapist Kelly van der Merwe

Kelly van der Merwe graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa in 2013.  Lymphoedema and lipoedema management are her specialities, and she has extensive experience in these areas.

She is passionate about learning and has completed her Certification in Lymphoedema Management as well as specialised training in oncology through the Pinc and Steel Foundation. She is a member of the Occupational Therapy Australia as well as the Australasian Lymphology Association.

Kelly continues to develop her professional skills and knowledge to be able to provide her clients with the best possible outcomes.

 

As an Occupational Therapist, rehabilitation is her passion and she believes in providing personalised, holistic and high-quality treatment. This includes various treatment modalities including oscillation therapy, pneumatic compression treatment, manual lymphatic drainage as well as garment prescription, to help improve clients’ quality of life.
